During the 1970s, on the banks of the Hood River in Oregon, a group of passionate windsurfers eager to improve their sailing all reached the same conclusion:
why not use the best materials available at the time to create high-performance, innovative equipment?
With Seattle and its aerospace industry close by, it only took a clever transfer of technology for DYNAFIBER to be born. The use of composite materials paved the way—right up to today—for major innovations in windsurfing: strong, high-performance, and lightweight masts, extensions, and booms..
